Medium Term Accommodation can support you if you need bridging accommodation while you wait for permanent long-term housing. You might be leaving hospital and need accommodation until you can move into Specialist Disability Housing (SDA).

If you are waiting for SDA or home modifications, this property provides everything needed until you move in.
Medium Term Accommodation doesn't include personal care supports if they are needed during your stay. At MediStays, we provide flexibility for you to arrange informal or formal supports to meet your individual needs. You can also stay at this property with your family and loved ones.
Under the NDIS Guidelines, MediStays bookings are usually made for stays up to 90 nights.
Extensions can be requested for any length of stay (when approved by your Planner). For questions about your funding and approval, please contact your NDIS Support Coordinator, LAC or Early Childhood Planner.

For example, if supports will be staying overnight, are they passive or active? For passive overnight supports, please request a "One Bedroom Apartment (with carparking and bed for overnight supports)" or a "Two Bedroom Apartment (with carparking)".
